Grief is...

A gray cloud, smothering....

A knife, sunk into the heart...

A red handkerchief, soaked and crumpled....

An anguished cry inward.....

Heavy eyes, burning from too many tears but so many more waiting to fall....

A hunger to see her one more time but knowing a thousand more times aren't enough.....

And each moment lived brings us one moment closer to seeing her again...

 Lord Jesus, please come!

Hadassah's funeral is planned for
Tuesday November 26th, at 11:00 AM.
The service and burial will take place at Nyagonda,
the church that we attend an hour from here.
May God be glorified.

  1. Oh, Darla! That picture of Zachary holding wee Hadassah...the flood gates have opened! This, more than anything else through this tear strewn journey has caused me to weep. I so wish I could be with you! But, I cannot. So, I will be here, weeping with you, loving you all from afar, lifting you all in prayer as you say goodbye to a precious piece of your hearts.

    We love you!

  2. Our hearts are touched by your grief and pain! May God gather you in His arms and carry you through this valley and as you lay your dear little Hadassah to rest today! Praying, Salome Yoder (Judith's Mom)
