A favorite drink in our family, besides chocolate milk, is eggnog. I'm not talking about that thick, syrupy, nasty stuff you buy over christmas time, i'm talking about a drink packed full of nutrients and absolutely delicious. Don't tell the FDA, but it's full of raw milk and raw egg yolks.
Recipe as follows:


1 1/4 cups whole raw milk
2 egg yolks, raw (from pastured eggs)
2 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 T sweetener (maple syrup is the best)
2-3 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in blender. Top with an extra dash of nutmeg or if you're feeling extra special, some whipped cream and then sprinkled with nutmeg.

I'm a hero to my family whenever i serve this and that's a good thing.
