On a Sunday evening

Sometimes in the business of church life and church activities, it's easy to forget what really matters on a sunday........time with your children. We had one of those sunday evenings that were special. Not because we did anything special but simply because we spent the evening connecting with the children. Putting puzzles together, playing sum swamp, and throwing a ball over the playhouse while shouting "Andy-Over." Sitting around the table drinking peppermint hot chocolate and eating broiled sugar and cinnamon toast. Family worship where you end up laughing thanks to having a few goof balls in the family. Mainly their father. It's those kind of evenings that i treasure. I feel refreshed and ready to face a new week and our hearts as a family are one. In the end, it's the small things in life that count.
