I have to admit, i kind of like to think that i have a right as a christian to RUN from tribulations. Who wants to suffer? Not me! And then i look at what not suffering has done to the "christians" in this country and i wonder if we wouldn't be better off with a little more suffering. Painful thought process because i can't expect other Christians to need a little suffering and somehow be exempt from that.

I realize that tribulations doesn't always mean physical persecution, it can be so simple as a recurring sinus infection and a baby that was up crying, off and on ALL night for the last 2-3 nights. It hasn't even crossed my mind that maybe i need to be thankful for the character that it will hopefully produce in my life. And in the baby's.............
