I apologize to all my friends who are wondering where i have been. I don't have an excuse other than I am a very busy mother of 7, who's trying to wrap up school for the year, dealing with severe spring allergies, cleaning, cooking, and trying to stay sane. It's been several months of God allowing me to walk through a personal valley of refinement, specifically in the area of homeschooling, so that all my opinions and what i thought i "knew", could be brought under the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of my head, Marlin. It's been a rough time of questioning everything and seeing the flaws in my children because of the flaws in their mother.

It's been hard, but so necessary and i'm grateful that God has allowed me to walk through this season. I'm not discouraged, at least not anymore, but I'm looking forward to seeing God work out His plan for the future.

And that's all for now........you may hear from me soon, but then and again, you may not. :)

  1. I feel for you on the spring allergies part!!! I've never have trouble with them before, but last weekend I started working at a garden center and on Sunday came down with a bad rash. I webt to the doctor on Monday and she said it was an allergic reaction. I'm guessing it is something from the garden center, but have know idea what plants would cause it. I'm still not over it and am going back to work tomorrow. I hope it doesn't flair up again. And I hope you're soon feeling better. God's grace is sufficient.

  3. Oh, I didn't really wonder where you were... I kinda figured you were in the same place as me! I just can't seem to find the time, energy, or inspiration to blog! Oh well.

But, I must say that you HAVE been on my mind quite a lot, of late; now I know why! Did I share with you this verse I found recently? I can't remember. But here it is:

    Psalm 105:19
"Until the time came to fulfill His word, the Lord tested Joseph's character."

Well, that just about sums up my existence for the past 6 weeks or so! At least I didn't have to go to prison to be tested! Nope, I just have to co-exist in the same house as four wee creatures that have a bit "too much" of their mother in them.

So, my sweet sister, press on! You are running well!
